Download Starcraft 2 Beta Single Player Patch with AI maps
Gaming fans worldwide, we have good news for you. You can now enjoy the Starcraft 2 single player mode, thanks to the newest patches on the market. After a week of developing, smart people brought to life the artificial intelligence in Starcraft 2.
To make it all simple for you, SoftSailor has made a pack that contains all the key components for Starcraft 2 Beta single player mode. You can find all of them explained and available for download bellow.
The pack consists of 3 parts. The first one is a collection of maps on which you can battle your wars. The second one is a file that enables you to play against AI (boots) in Starcraft 2 beta single player mode. Multiplayer is not yet supported. The last part is a game launcher. With it you can load the map and battle versus the computer.
Starcraft 2 Beta
Installing instructions :
Part 1 – Maps:
Extract the maps to any locations, but we suggest creating a Maps folder in to the Starcraft 2 Beta folder.
Part 2- Patch for MEDIUM AI:
1 – Extract into Starcraft II beta folder (C:\Program Files \Starcraft II Beta)
2 – It should ask to overwrite, accept.
Part 3 – Launcher:
1. Run the launcher.
2. Select map file.
3. Play
Note: this pack contains a file that will be detected by your antivirus as a Trojan. It is safe to download. Also if you do not trust us, here is the second version of the patch, with no Trojan detected: Click me. Also, this versions works for the latest patches.
Note: We do not offer any illegal ways to download Starcraft 2 Beta Patch Single player patch. On SoftSailor you will not find torrents, keygens, serial keys, rapidshare downloads, or any other illegal method to download Starcraft 2 Beta Patch Single player patch. hey Im grateful for the AI, but when I run it I can only play as the zerg. how can I be otehr races?
Restart the game and you will be given a new race.

When I attempt to extract the launcher my anti-virus screams about Trojans. So I haven’t installed the launcher, yet. Is it this file sketch?

Have no fear, there are no Trojans. The pack contains a crack, that’s why your antivirus sees it like a Trojan.
Hello, having some trouble. I downloaded the 1.48GB Starcraft 2 file and I couldn’t run it. Then I downloaded this patch and when I tried to open the Patch for Medium AI it tells me the file is corrupt. And when I run the launcher it says “could not find Starcraft II beta v0.3.0.14093″. What do I do?
Hey I just fixed the problem about the corrupt file by redownloading the problem. However, when I run the launcher, it still says “could not find Starcraft II beta v0.3.0.14093″. In the instructions about you said
1 – Extract into Starcraft II beta folder (C:\Program Files \Starcraft II Beta)

But when I downloaded the 1.49GB file, nothing was installed. It was just a file that I can’t run. Moreover, the laucher is not asking to overwrite or anything. How do I install the game?

You need to install the client first and then apply the patch. Double click on the .exe file , the one with 1.49 GB and it will work.
so i downloaded the file and updated the patch and what not. and followed the instructions
im tried running the launcher, but i get this message.

Same here, I have maps and launcher installed but when I open the SC2 beta, I type in my battle.net account name and it won’t let me play and says that my batte.net account isn’t associated with a copy of the starcraft beta. Please help
It’s your Antivirus doing that. I had to completely disable AVG before it would start. Once I did that it worked fine.
Wow! Its Beta software people! Its buggy. Start it without patching and let the official updates get applied first. Allow Blizard through the firewall. Fixes a lot of bugs. I doubt they care its Beta, your not taking money from them. You can then close it and use the launcher to run it without that unnecessary battle.net. I bet you didn’t know that once you put up this patch you would be expected to offer tech support. lol
At least its not like other forums where they complain about the AI being to hard to beat. Shocking since I can take the computer out in short order in all the AI versions I have tried. I am eager to terminate some human players. It’s boring now!

It seems, upon running the launch file with winrar, I have no maps nor any of the 3 races to choose from. How do I fix this? I have no idea if I’ve placed the file which I downloaded from this page where it should. I downloaded the ‘no trojan detect’ version but don’t mind deleting it and getting the other if I should. I think I’ve gotten closer to getting it to work. The files are extracted as supposed to, I believe, but the races are faded out and I can’t find any maps – therefore I cannot run the game. Where do I find the maps? And how can I choose a race? :s Thankyou!

I’ve downloaded, installed and extracted everything into the proper files. When I run the game, I’m propmted to sign in. Is this supposed to happen? Or did I do something wrong? I imagine that I shouldn’t have to sign in to play the single player or there is some kind of work around…

One problem is that AI is so dumb, it doesn’t seem to make much units nor upgrades or tech up thru out the whole game… AI is beyond sucks…
It is great to be able to play all units and all but there is NO challenge there.
Ok, my bad. Got a rar file from the link below and dumped all extracted files(AI folder, AI.p, launcher.ini, LauncherGUI.exe and lazyluncher2.exe) into “StarCraft II Beta” directly. This fixed the crappy AI level.
Now the AI level can be selected from Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard, and Insane!!!(<-with actually three exclamation marks) when you run LauncherGUI.exe.
So it is much more fun to play against AI … well, at least for me…! Enjoy~

For those who are encountering problems after updating to higher game versions, have a little patience. My game can’t update to the latest version. Blizzard is working on that.

It doesn’t exist. The Lan option will never be available for Starcraft 2
I am using the .10 version of the beta as well. I was able to get the launcher to work and was able to find the maps. However, when I choose “run”, the map loads with no units. Any ideas or fixes you can think of?

it’s a Blizzard problem. I Suggest reinstalling the game or simply waiting..it will solve in a couple of hours.
another thing, when I downloaded the single player, it said to select a file in which to open because it cannot be found, it had a small selection of choices such as adobe, notpad ect.. or use the web. I selective internet explorer as one the choices ( not the web search but the program ) and well, ever since that grave mistake whenever i try to redownload and open it, it opens a exploerer browser instead. Please help I read all the posts on everyones sucess with the download =( makes me feel down I won’t lie angry but congratss =)

Hey it keeps on updating what the fuk is that i cant play
Upon initial install, the StarCraft II updater has to load a bunch of updates (one at a time) until it gets to 13. Watch the version number change on the updater as it does it’s thing. The 11th or 12th update is a big one and will take a while.
Best thing to do is let it start updating and walk away for 45 minutes. Note: If your running Windows XP, it will keep prompting you to allow it in the firewall. Best to turn it off before you start updating.

Silviu Serban my man you did a great job. The game is perfect you are a great computer whizz. I wanted to ask you something where I couldn’t see this question above: I can not chose my race ok, it is said that race is random. But my problem is the enemy is always the same race. I don’t want to mirror match can I change the enemys (computers) race?
As you can see above in my article, in the last part of it there is a note telling that a second patch has arrived.
Install that patch, it will allow you to do anything.
So if you install the single player patch, would it stop you in any way from playing the ordinary beta online if you eventually get a key?

Silviu, Two things… I pre-ordered the game at GameStop and received (2) BETA keys. I noticed when I let the patcher do it’s thing past patch 8 (version 0.10.0.14803), it got hung on a particular file that did not match the byte count and stopped. I had to re-install from the initial client download from scratch.
I also noticed that a new patch was released, Patch 12 (version 0.14.0.15343) on Thursday. Does your LauncherGUI take these updates into account? If so, I will re-install the launcher and maps.

All you had to do to get past the Byte Count Not Matching is replace your current “base.sc2data” (which is actually a cracked file because you overwrote it during installation of crack) with the original “base.sc2data”, then update will succeed.
I just did that and everything was fine.
After update succeeds, you need to reinstall the crack by simply replacing the official “base.sc2data” with the cracked “base.sc2data” again.
However, lazy launch will not work anything past patch 8 i guess lol

Hi When I initiate lazylauncher and choose my map the game begins to boot up (th window is formatted narrower) I see the loading bar and then it shuts back down. Any idea of what is wrong? No error codes are popping up
