DAEMON Tools is an application that emulates multiple types of protections. Using this software you can run backup copies of games protected with Safedisc, Laserlock or Securom protections and many others. You can set up to 4 virtual DVD-ROM drives that you can use to read images that have been created by one of the many burning program DAEMON Tool supports.

Daemon Tools can surpass protection on a 1:1 copy of the original disk but cannot burn it to a disk: you can only use DAEMON Tools to surpass the protection while you are playing the game. But Daemon Tools is also a great application if you need extra portability: you just make images of the CDs/DVDs you regularly use and then you don’t have to carry them around. Also, if large amounts of data need to be read from a disk drive, you can make an image and read it with this application.

This application can read cue/bin images, iso images as well as images created with CloneCD, Blindwrite, Discjuggler, Nero, BlindWrite 5/6, Instant CD/DVD and others.
