ProShow Producer is an easy-to-use, fast and fun slideshow software. It has a great interface with accessible layout to quickly navigate to important tools, customize essential settings, and a lot of new features at just a click away. The keyframes can be easily edited with the multi-track display that provides a larger layout and precise control over keyframe timing and positioning.
The software can add modifiers to allow layers to mimic each other. This can be used to set up a layer’s motion effect and have a second layer following it. There are some slide styles (pre-made effects) that can be applied to any slide, and create impressive special effects from the contents of the slide. They can be applied very easily, with simple drag-and-drop.
Here are some of the other features: animated GIF support, edit fade in or out for the audio track of the video clip, slide timings can be locked, add notes or layers, audio trimmer, advanced playback controls for web shows, display time as seconds in timeline and others.
Proshow Producers includes many preset options for output, including DVD, Blu Ray, VCD, An executable file to run on a PC, mobile phones, iPods, YouTube, Flash Video, various video formats, a CD that will Autorun when inserted in a PC, and a screen saver.
Each loads a wizard to guide you through the process of getting the correct settings with the minimum of fuss. The DVD wizard works extremely well, allowing you to create menus for different slide shows on the same disc, images do look a little soft when viewed on a standard TV set though.
The trial version of the software has an evaluation period of 15 days and it’s fully functional.
