nvidia-ntune_2NVIDIA nTune is an application you can use to monitor your system components and overclock them to gain more performance or underclock them to make sure that the fans won’t make too much noise. All the changes you want to make can be made using the application’s Windows interface (no need to modify parameters in BIOS).

NVIDIA nTune can work with any of the following motherboards (as it is stated on the official website)
• nForce 220, nForce 220D, nForce 415 and nForce 420D
• nForce2 and nForce2 400
• nForce2 Ultra and nForce2 Ultra 400
• nForce2 400R and nForce2 Ultra 400Gb
• nForce3 150 and nForce3 PRO 150
• nForce3 250, nForce3 250Gb and nForce3 PRO 250
• nForce4 Pro 2200, nForce4 Ultra, and nForce4 SLI
• nForce 590 SLI, nForce 570 SLI, nForce 570 Ultra, nForce 550
• nForce 680a SLI, nForce 680i SLI, nForce 650i SLI, nForce 650i Ultra

With NVIDIA nTune you can modify the motherboard and GPU clocks and voltages, adjust the parameters for the fans and memory timings and monitor the temperatures in your system. If you don’t know how to modify these settings, you can load one of the several profiles included.
If you have problems with your system, NVIDIA nTune can display the temperatures on your screen no matter what you are doing and can also create logs of the temperatures at intervals that users can define.

If you want to monitor or modify the parameters of a system based on an nForce motherboard, NVIDIA nTune is an alternative for you, and can help you to gain that little extra performance even if you don’t know a lot about overclocking. Another plus is that this software comes from Nvidia, and who other can tweak your system than the guys that your computer is based on. You can get it for free using the link below.
