How to hide / show drive partitions in Windows

If you don’t want to see your partitions in My Computer anymore, then follow the following steps, no matter of the Windows version you’re using:

  1. Right click on My Computer.
  2. Go to Manage.
  3. Click on Disk Management on the bottom left.
  4. Right click the partition you want to hide.
  5. Go to Change Drive Letters and Path.
  6. Click Remove.
  7. Click Yes.

Now your drive should be hidden from My Computer.

If you miss and want to make it show again, follow the next steps:

  1. Right Click on My Computer.
  2. Go to Manage.
  3. Go to Disk Management.
  4. Right click  the hidden partition.
  5. Go to Change Drive Letters and Path.
  6. Click on add.
  7. Select a letter.
  8. Click Ok

Now your partition should be back.
