If your computer got infected with PC Scout, follow this quick guide on how to remove PC Scout from your computer. In addition, you will also find information about what PC Scout is and what it does.

PC Scout is one of the latest edition of the scareware (fake anti-malware) software that attempts to trick users into buying it by showing a variety of warnings that tell you that the computer you are using is infected and that you need to buy the program to remove the threats.

PC Scout is not a security software. In fact, the program itself is a malware. Once it founds a way into your computer, it will automatically start next time you load up Windows and it will start scanning your computer. When this fake scan is over, PC Scout will report a number of infections that, conveniently enough, can’t be removed until you buy the program. Do not buy PC Scout as the infections are not actually there.
