Droid By Motorola Website Confirms What We Already Knew

We already knew most of the Motorola Droid’s specs, but it’s always nice to have an official confirmation directly from the source. Earlier today the Motorola website was packed with a Droid Does special page, but it was soon taken down probably because the mistake had to be repaired. The only drawbacks were that we couldn’t find pricing details and the official release date.

The Motorola Droid features a 3.7-inch 16:9 touchscreen with 480 x 854 resolution, 3G, 5-megapixel camera with image stabilization, 1400mAh battery, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi 802.11b/g, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 16GB microSD card expandable to 32GB, web browser which supports HTML5 while Flash 10 support will be available in 2010, QuickOffice, sliding QWERTY keyboard, voice commands, accelerometer, microUSB port, and a 550MHZ OMAP3 processor.

You can check out the screenshots of the Droid by Motorola website below and also you must check out the video of the Motorola Droid at the bottom because it’s worth it. Well, we know that the first Android 2.0 Eclair smartphone in the world will be launched on October 28, but we still want to know its shipping date as well as pricing. Verizon says it’s coming in November, but what if the release date is November 29th? We want it sooner!
