Geohot Releases Blackra1n RC2 To Fix Some iPhone Jailbreak Issues
Jailbreaking an iPhone is far from being an easy job. It almost leaves scars on your handheld, meaning that some features might not work properly. George Hotz, the iPhone hacker extraordinaire, was the first to release a jailbreak for iPhone OS 3.1.2 after the success of purplera1n of iPhone 3.0. The jailbreak for iPhone 3.1.2 was called Blackra1n and was only available for Windows-based machines. Well, Geohot is back with Blackra1n RC2 which is available for both Windows and Mac platforms.
Blackra1n RC2 fixes the 3G radio issues, the problems with Icy, and it addresses the tethered jailbreak for 3.1 OOTB iPod Touch 8GB and iPhone 3GS. According to Geohot, if Blackra1n RC1 worked fine for you, then you shouldn’t use RC2. Well, if RC1 didn’t work for you then what are you waiting for? You can find more details on how to jailbreak iPhone 3.1.2 here, and you can download Blackra1n RC2 for Windows and Mac right here.
Don’t forget to appreciate the work of Geohot and to thank him. You’ll know what I mean when you download Blackra1n!
