768MHz Snapdragon CPU For Acer Liquid Instead of 1GHz
We found out from an international Liquid presentation that the 1GHz CPU that was supposed to be shipped along Acer’s handset has now turned into a 768MHz Qualcomm 8250 Snapdragon processor. Without counting the rumored XPERIA X3 we can declare this could be the most powerful Android handset to date. Acer’s new item is also well known for running on the Android OS ver.1.6, also called “Donut”. This new toy also packs a 3.5 inch capacitive screen with a 800×480 pixels resolution, 512 MB of ROM, 256 MB of RAM, a 5MP camera, HSPA+, GPS-AGPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. We can also expect a stereo FM radio, USB connectivity and a microSD card slot. About its exterior features, Liquid weighs about 135 grams and measures 115×62.5×12.5 mm. We can’t tell anything about its price, cause we didn’t find out our selves. But we can tell you that it’s expected to run free through our stores by the end of this month or the begging of December. So it would make a great gift for the Holydays.
