Rogers Announces LG GW620 Eve, Might Be The Only NA Mobile Operator To Carry It
When unveiled the LG GW620 was supposed to become the first Android smartphone that hits AT&T, however, industry sources claim that this is not going to happen and the handset will be available at only one carrier in North America: Rogers. The GW620 is the first Android-powered LG handheld and although it’s not among the most powerful smartphones in the world, we would have enjoyed to see an Android phone at AT&T.
Rogers calls the LG GW620 Eve and if you agree to a three-year plan then you will only pay CAD $49.99, while unsubsidized will cost you CAD $349.99. At the moment all we can say is that we hope the rumors are false and that this Android phone packing a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G/HSDPA will become available at AT&T at some point into the future. If you are interested in this phone, make sure to check back soon because we will post information as soon as we have it!
