Apple Might Not Kill Atom Support With Mac OS X 10.6.2 Update After All

Earlier this week we saw information which said that Apple is going to kill Intel Atom processors support with the upcoming. Mac OS X 10.6.2 update. However, recent details clearly show that Snow Leopard 10.6.2 is going to work well with Atom processors meaning that your hackintosh netbook is safe and you can install the update without problems. The picture of the more recent developer build Mac OS X 10.6.2 10C535 supports Atom architecture, but I wouldn’t celebrate so quickly because there is a lot of time until the software is released and anything can happen.

If another Mac OS X build killed Atom support then it means that a future build might kill it once again, and with crazy things going on at Apple all the time, we just don’t know what to say. I think that you should wait for the official update before jumping into conclusions.

  1. You fucking Hackintosh users, stop being mean bastards and buy a Mac.

I can guarantee you’re the same types of people who sit around on Youtube telling everyone how shit Macs are. Idiots…
