Motorola Droid’s drop date should have been November 6th, however, many people in the US are reporting that some select Best Buy stores are already selling the smartphone. Verizon is going to open its doors tomorrow at 7a.m. in order to face the human herds that are going to assault the carrier’s stores in order to get their hands on the first Android 2.0 Eclair-based smartphone in the world. That’s not all as it is said that WalMart has also begun selling the Verizon Droid cellphone.
If you are in an area where Best Buy and WalMart is already selling the Motorola Droid, then can you please buy one and send us some pictures? It’s not that expensive. OK, this was a poor joke, but we cannot wait for this smartphone to be unleashed. This might be the iPhone killer and you know it! Droid does, iDon’t!

I just received a call from my Best Buy that they received their droid shipments today… but I won’t be able to pick it up until tomorrow…
Not true – Nobody is sellig until tomorrow.
I picked mine up at wal-mart at 6pm tonight. Quite a few wal-marts were selling them early.
