“Britney Spears Dead’ has been a trend on Google for a few hours and people keep asking on forums and Yahoo Answers if it’s true or not. We can tell you for sure it’s not and I guess the reason you’re asking is because of the “RIP” comments on her YouTube videos.
The comments on YouTube are posted by 4Chan.org members, a group of people that try to gain more influence over the internet by using thousands of usernames and automated bots. Along with their comments on her videos, I am confident there are other members who believe she’s actually dead and comment in her honor.
This isn’t the first scenario of this kind about Britney Spears. 5 months ago a message appeared on her Twitter account saying “Britney has passed today. It is a sad day for everyone. More news to come.” Though that wasn’t true and the message was posted through a TwitPic exploit.
