First of all I have to ask if there is anybody who uses Windows Vista anymore, because it seems that the number of Windows 7 sales is very, very high for the first week on the market.
I just found out that Microsoft’s latest operating system had a wonderful start, with sales up to 234% more than Windows Vista had in its first week. It`s definitely not a bad percentage, given the fact that we know everyone is facing the financial crisis these days.
Well, as we expected the sales weren’t the only thing going up in Redmond. You should know that revenue from Windows 7 has also outpaced the big “V”, by 83%.
Now, the only question that I have left is- – are sales of Windows 7 so high, because people don`t like Vista anymore, or because Win7 is really that good?
Well, It seems that we don`t know the answer for this question yet, but one thing is certain—Microsoft`s Windows 7 gave a nice bump to sales of new PCs.
