Kindle Beta App For Windows PC Available For Download, Mac OS X Verison Coming Soon
Amazon has released the Kindle Beta app for PC, an application which will allow Kindle users to read more than 360,000 ebooks on their Windows-based machines. Now sure if this is a great decision considering the fact that now users can read ebooks on their iPhone, PC, and soon on Macs, but I’m sure Amazon will figure something out that will allow the company to make further profit from the Kindle and Kindle DX eReaders.
The Kindle app for PC is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and 7, and I’m thinking that this is not a problem for you. Well, the app is available for download now and it gives users the possibility to purchase, download and read ebooks from the Kindle Store, access their library, read color books, choose between 10 fonts, sync bookmarks, view notes, zoom in and out of text and turn pages by swiping the finger. The last two features are only available for Windows 7-based devices with a touchscreen so if you want to be the coolest, then remember to buy such computer.
