Network director Eric Lempel has just announced that Sony will be releasing their PlayStation3–3.10 firmware update today. It seems that Sony has been working at this update for a while, because “It’s never been easy to just integrate new content into the PlayStation Network” (said Eric Lempel).
The main attraction will of course be Facebook integration whit store purchases, improved photo galleries and also enabling the PS3 users to share Trophy updates and other information with the service’s news such as: in-game progress.
According to Lempel event updates will be available in PS3 games very soon, as they already sent out the tools to Sony’s first-party developers.
Lempel also said that the new update in only “phase one” and that they are trying to create an PS3 posting word on Trophy, where users should be able to comment and offer their congratulations.
