PS3 Firmware Update 3.10 Now Available For Download
Remember the PS3 Update 3.10 with Facebook integration? Well, now it’s live and you should download it right away. Oh, I was just kidding here. Like many other updates this one can also brick your PS3, but then again it might be your fault or your connection might be slow and your console wouldn’t update properly. Anyway Sony PS3 3.10 Firmware Update features FB integration with store purchases, trophies, and in-game progress among other fixes.
The Facebook option can be found under account management, and in order to access it you will be required to sign into your PSN account. If you want your trophies to show up on your FB account then enable the option on your console, paste your account details, and then sync the trophy option from your Games tab.
Now you can also change the border color of your friends list by selecting your avatar in the XMB, pick profile, and you should see a lot of colors outside the PSN card. Pick one color and that’s it. Among other features you can also find an improved photo browser with a vertical list of grid thumbnails.

Hm… Well the update was smooth enough, but I seem to have lost the iPlayer support that was introduced in the previous patch? (UK based, obviously)
I wondered where FB “integration” was hidden; can’t say I’ll touch it if all it’ll do is spam friends without PS3s with stuff they couldn’t care less about. I thought it was going to be like an FB “app” for the PS3, not just a fanpage.
