If you were fascinated by the Blackberry Curve 8520 also known as ‘Gemeni’ then Aries will also match your tastes. So many codenames, I know. The differences between Blackberry Curve 8530 (Aries) and the previous Gemeni, are made by the CMDA version that Aries is running on, 3G data connectivity and integrate GPS, and last but not least, the optical trackpad that replaces the older version’s trackball, which I understand is way better and quite addictive. Its processor is supposed to be the same as the one implanted on 8900 or the 512MHz one from the Curve 8520. Despite all rumors, the Blackberry Curve 8530 isn’t showing up this year in the US. It’s bound to make its appearance along Verizon at the beginning of next year’s first half, in February.
