Although it was supposed to be released last week, the Nokia X6 Comes With Music will become available next week, but only in the UK and Finland. The Finnish-based company has officially announced that the Symbian S60 5th edition smartphone which boasts 32GB of built-in memory will cost £449 or about $740 without a contract. This is a little expensive IMO as the Nokia N900 (IMO a better phone than the X6) will cost only $600 and if you like Amazon you can pre-order it now for only $499.99!
Nokia’s argument is that the N900 and X6 are two completely different devices as the former is a “true” smartphone while the latter is a music phone. However I can disagree with that as the N900 has the same internal memory as the X6: 32GB. Why would the X6 be more expensive than the N900? The Comes With Music service will provide access to more than 6 million tracks of most artists in the world and the X6 features a 3.2-inch touchscreen which is smaller than N900’s but it’s capacitive and the last time I checked, capacitive was > resistive.
