Google can be very racist sometimes. Seriously. Remember this Google Fail: white people stole my car? Apparently, some users are receiving suggested results as “Did you mean black people stole my car?” however, I’ve never seen a picture to prove this fact. The problem is that know we have “some” proof that Google is racist and it couldn’t be worse for the search giant as the person who is in the middle of the attention is the US First Lady, Michelle Obama. When users are googling for Michelle Obama pictures, they’ll receive a top result which shows a modified First Lady picture with a face of a monkey.

This can’t be good for Google and even if they put an official response in the ads space which says that “Sometimes our search results can be offensive. We agree.” the company should do the utmost to get this picture out of there. I thought that we should ban everything that is racist, however, I think that nobody would notice this if it weren’t a top result. The problem is Google’s page ranking as people continue linking to the photo and if there are lots of incoming links to that picture, it’s normal that it shows as a top result.

It’s wrong, but I don’t know if Google can use Internet laws to take the picture down. It’s a shame that there are racist people out there, but this should represent an alarm signal for all the people in the world. I feel sorry for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, and I wish I didn’t see this picture, and I hope they’ll find a way to take the picture down.
