In the past few days, more and more Google tools (or better said, scripts) have surfaced online and attracted a lot of attention. If Mystery Google was about discovering the internet (and maybe even new friends) and GoogleGoogleGoogleGoogle could be a great research tool, Purple Google is all about making Google… Purple.

To be fair, it’s not all about a Purple Google. You can also have a Yellow Google, a Green Google, an Orange Google and a few others, including a Rainbow Google. If you are wondering what the fuzz is all about, this is where we come up dry: we really don’t understand the urge for creating a colored Google (yes, it was created by someone, it is not affiliated with Google, although it does use Google’s search).

Unfortunately, we don’t understand what is so wrong with the classical Google search page, but if you can’t live without the purple color, you can give Purple Google a try here.
