Earlier today we reported that Staples is offering lots of impressive deals on Black Friday 2009, however, the most popular of them all has proven to be the HP G60-506US Laptop, a Windows 7-powered machine. This notebook is not among the best out there; I mean it features a weak Intel Celeron Processor 900 therefore I think the decisive factor has been Microsoft’s OS which is not a disappointment like Windows Vista. 7 is a good software and people seem to like it. In a recent survey, users are more satisfied with Windows 7 than with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, and although I’ve never used a Mac, I can tell you that I’m content with Microsoft’s software (that doesn’t change the fact that when I’m going to be rich, I’ll buy a Mac).
Anyway, the HP G60-506US Laptop comes packed with 3GB DDR2 RAM expandable to 4GB, 160GB SATA HDD, 15.6-inch HD HP BrightView display, Intel GMA 4500M, integrated WiFi 802.11b/g, LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD-R/RW with double-layer support, integrated 5-in-1 multimedia card reader, built-in microphone, and a 6-cell Li-ion battery.
The HP G60-506US Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit is now available for sale for only $299.98 at Staples. Stay tuned, more deals soon to follow!

i bought this hp laptop on black friday, just wondering. does it have a webcam!?
I am one of dozens of customers who purchased this computer shortly after it went on sale online after 6am, received confirmation and was then told by Staples 6 hours later that they were not processing my order. THIS IS A STAPLES SCAM!
