The first firmware update for Creative ZEN X-Fi2 was released by producer. The new firmware will give to the portable media player, new capabilities, and new features. Firmware 1.10.04 will bring colored icons (yeah, seriously), accelerometer usage (but only for photos), a Sudoku game and a “press and hold” behavior for powering the unit on or off. Also the new update will solve the responsiveness issues.  The most interesting aspect here (in our humble opinions) is the Sudoku bit, as it certainly hints at more titles being possible in future firmware refreshes. Let’s hope that the touch-screen mp3 will be able to offers its real power and its multimedia capabilities for total.

I am sure that people who bought this gadget will love its new features, and the product will be more practical to use. Simplicity, intuitive menu, glossy look and eye-candy menu will be the first features that will pay the attention.
