According to Reuters during the next year, Nokia will launch only one smartphone with its new OS. It is a bad news, for those who wanted to test new devices and to see what brings the new open-source platform. In the last time, we saw many interesting movements from Nokia on the phones market.  Now Nokia has 2 OS platforms, both open-source, an advantage, because the open-source status of Nokia`s platforms, will make possible the development of new software and in the end customers will get better apps and better services.

This movement suggests that Nokia remains loyal to Symbian, as choice a platform.  Many smartphones launched by Nokia are sold with this OS, very stable, with all kind of app developed over the time.

it only takes one handset to change the game, that’s the lesson which should be learned by Nokia from the guys in Cupertino.
