Sugar on a Stick OS gets Fedora 12 features

Sugar on a Stick, the OLPC-free version of the Sugar OS, is now available as the second version of this OS, with codename Blueberry. Updates are: core built on Fedora 12 and Sugar .86, Gnash for Flash support as well as a suite of new apps, recently released Open Office 4 Kids. There are a number of other updates included, all available for download. Compressed file systems are used to save space, and persistent overlay files are used to save changes to the system and the learner’s work.  The main feature of the OS the capability to run from an usb drive, is portable, is customizable, is based on open-source platform and so is free of charge.

It is known the stability of Linux kernel and the library of software available for this OS. Based on Fedora12 has the best of what a free software can bring, and also has the support of Fedora developers community. The step made is huge, now that is also OLPC available.
