Could Google Phone really be a start for a handset series?
Google, one of the largest companies in the world, is well known for its accuracy when it comes to search engines and e-mailing stuff, but for mobile phones?
Yes ,you`ve seen well, this Saturday morning a Google executive dropped hints like the company will release a Google Android phone of its own.
As we all know Google it`s very cautious when it comes to its name so, the handset has been distributed to all Google employees so that they could test it and, of course, come up with lots of suggestion to help improving it.
We don`t know for sure what kind of phone will be, but we`ve heard some rumors. Someone said the device looked like an iPhone, but a little bit thinner, somebody else said that it looked like the Bravo/ Passion because it hasn`t physical keyboard.
So as you can see the opinions are divided, but our best guess it that it would be an HTC device, why? Because all our hints bring us to their kind of handsets: a trackball and four standard Android menu controls, a”supersharp” display similar to Motorola Droid`s, slight visual enhancements to the user interface, animated wallpapers and a camera on the rear face, which I have to say that are definitely things found in HTC`s pattern.
It`s a fact that we don`t have much info about the handset’s specs or details, but all we know for sure is that the phone runs with the Android 2.1 OS, it`s unlocked and can support an AT&T SIM card and that it`s due to release sometime in January.
That`s it for the moment, but stay tuned for more info!
