Good news for HTC Hero and Samsung Moments owners .In the first half of 2010, Sprint will make available  updates  for  these smartphones,   straight to Android 2.1 and not to Android 2.0 as it was originally thought. Probably Sprint worked long for this thing to happen, but without real specifications about Android 2.1 no official release could be made.

On Sprint`s official Twitter account, the company revealed:” Slight clarification on Android OS updates for the HTC Hero & Samsung Moment. Will be updating straight to Android 2.1, not 2.0, in 1H2010”. Now we`ll see what improvements and features will be released, but according to rumors Android 2.1 will be a hit.
