Galewher.com Facebook Virus Can Infect Your Computer And It’s Even On Twitter
A Facebook virus can be a real pain in the arse as it can infect your computer, steal personal data, create havoc on your account and later on infect other users, your friends. Here comes the galewher.com Facebook virus which is very clever and at the moment we don’t know how it works considering the fact that the message is different depending on the user. Some user are receiving message which says that they can win some bonus Christmas money, while others text say that Galewher.c0m will help AdSense publishers to earn extra money.
According to a report, behind the Galewher.com or Galewher.c0m Facebook virus is the Koobface Trojan. Please do not download anything while searching information about the Koobface Trojan or the Galewher.com Facebook virus. It seems like Facebook has acknowledged the existence of the virus and it’s trying to fix the problem.
Currently, we don’t have a confirmation but some users are reporting that the Galewher.c0m virus has extended from Facebook to Twitter therefore you should be careful on what links you click especially when URL shorteners are so popular.
Like aforementioned, please be careful and do not click on any suspicious links even if they’re coming from your friends or other people whom you trust.

Change your passwords, get an anti-virus program, run it before you log into facebook again.
i have got a msg from a friend on my wall saying ‘Is this for you GALEWHER . C0M’ does that mean its infecting my computer/acc??

if someone else posted this on your wall, it means their computer is infected with the virus. if you go to galewher . c0m your computer will be infected as well.
before you click on a link that your friend has posted on your wall or messaged you about, i would call/text/email them before you click on it just to make sure.
My facebook account sent about 20 wall post to my friends telling them about GALEWHER . C0M So I guess this means that my mac and my account are infected with that trojan???? Are my friends infected too??? What i have to do about it??? Please let me know if you know anything about it
Highly doubt that it’s Koobface. This looks similar in design to Samford Wallace’s past exploits on Facebook/MySpace/Twitter. Koobface appears to be about self-propagation, not financial gain.
