There`s no doubt that Internet Explorer 7 is a great browser, but according to our good friends from StatCounter the numbers have shown us something very surprising. It seems that Mozilla Firefox`s efforts has finally begun to be appreciate by a consistent mass of users.
Two days ago the boys from StatCounter made a global statistic, which showed us that in the last few days Firefox 3.5 has been ahead of Internet Explorer 7, which could mean just one thing: Firefox 3.5 became the most used browser version in the world.
The logical explanation is very simple: Internet Explorer 7 users has started to upgrade to the IE8 version, which means that now Internet Explorer`s market is confronting with a vast transaction process and because of that the number of IE 7 users has started to decline.
If you don`t believe me then see for yourselves:

However, even if Mozilla Firefox`s 3.5 version is now the most wanted, if you put together all version of IE vs all version of FF you will gonna see that Microsoft`s browser is still ruling the world.
You should know that StatCounter`s numbers are very precise because they are tracking more than 3 million websites (with a total of 5 billion of pageviews) to generate them.
