In the past rumors were considered false because in generally there was no proof to sustain them, however, over the few years this has changed. Here is another rumor which turned out to be true, T-Mobile has unveiled the new 3G Sidekick LX. Many have said that it was a mistake, but IMO it wasn’t a mistake at all as T-Mobile has updated their Sidekick website which clearly shows that there are about 24 days left ’till the new cellphone is released.
The official specs of the new Sidekick LX are: a 3.2-megapixel camera, super-fast 3G, a 3.2-inch 854 x 480 WVGA display, GPS, Flash video support, full QWERTY keyboard, and applications for FaceBook, Twitter, and MySpace. T-Mobile’s new cellphone is very slim measuring 5.20 x 2.40 x 0.64 inches while weighing 5.82 ounces. The new Sidekick LX supports frequency bands like 850/900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 1700/2100/85/2100 UMTS, and it’s available for pre-order but only for current T-Mobile customers, and sadly the rest of us will have to wait until the release date.
I must say that a positive thing about the new Sidekick is that it will support Microsoft Exchange through the Sidekick Download Catalog, while the 854 x 480 WVGA display is perfect and you can only imagine how well the screen will look. However, there are two major downsides of the new T-Mobile Sidekick LX as it doesn’t feature Wi-Fi, and it supports only 1GB via microSD card. Remember that these are the official specs therefore it’s your call how much the lack of Wi-Fi and bigger memory will affect your decision if you ever considered buying the new Sidekick LX.
T-Mobile is offering two version of the cellphone, Orchid and Carbon, and both will be available as of May 13 with a two-year commitment for $200.

It does not only support up to 1GB for the memory card. It COMES with a 1GB memory card and it can hold up to a 16GB memory card.
Actually it is unlimited MicroCard support depending on what is available on the market. if a 32 GB card comes out, it will support it as well!

i love this phone at first i was begging my mom for the 08 and she said no,but then i said that i needed an emergency phone that’s not the cheap phone i already have,which kinda hard,but when i want something i beg,so 2 days later she finally agreed with me,but then she said that that phone is kinda old and i was so suprised!but then i started thinking about and i knew she was right,and 2 days later the commercial for this phone came out and i wasn’t that suprised,but my cuzin liked it so i searched it up online and started rerading about it until i fell in love with it and that’s when my mom went to sidekick.com and saw the phone and she said it was cool right there i knew she was gonna buy it for me,she gonna buy it for me in 2 weeks once she get’s paid in her job,but since then i been feeling so bubbly and hyper and here i am staring at the phone at first i was gonna get it in orchird but i decided to get it in carbon,thisis the first big thing i’ve evr gotten!
