The Consumer Electronics Show 2010 begins on Thursday, January 7th and it will close its doors on Sunday, January 10th. CES 2010 will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and it will mark the beginning of the “year of the tablets.” Although many people call it like this, I think it’s inappropriate because tablets aren’t the only goodies that will be unveiled in 2010 therefore I think it should be called the “year of mobility” as this year consumers will “receive” great phones, laptops, netbooks, tablets, smartbooks, booklets, ebook readers, and more!

At CES 2010 attendees will see laptops like Dell Inspiron 15, Gateway NV5905 And Toshiba Satellite L500-00F with Intel Core i3 and Pine Trail processors, Samsung N210, N220, N150 and NB30 netbooks, a tablet PC by Notion Ink, 7-inch smartbook by Freescale, and many, many others.

During this year we should also get our hands on the long-expected and much-rumored Apple Tablet called iSlate, on Microsoft’s Courier, a dual-screen tablet, and on the Google Phone called Nexus One which will be introduced tomorrow January 5th at a Google Event.
