After a long time of waiting, Facebook for BlackBerry 1.5 has been released for download. I have to say that I own a BlackBerry Storm (yeah, I know.. you are all surprised that I have such a crap and full of bugs cellphone) and that the previous version of Facebook really sucked therefore I used it only a little bit. I will probably download, install, and test it later when I will be very bored. However, if you own other BlackBerry smartphones then go ahead and download it right now!

The Facebook for BlackBerry 1.5 features BlackBerry message, calendar integration to see your friends’ birthdays, and contacts integration so that you can add pictures to your contact list. The best thing (or the worst) is that notifications show up on your BlackBerry smartphone without having to open the Facebook 1.5 application.

I have to remind that now you will have to re-read the terms of use and agreement, as it has been reported that the privacy-settings for Facebook for BlackBerry 1.5 are very different now. You can download the application from Facebook or from BlackBerry so I will let you choose.
