If you heard about Sprint, for sure you heard about WiMax. It seems that Sprint it’s trying to expand its network as much as possible and it appears that they are negotiating with Wal-Mart. The purpose is to build the network towers on the Wal-Mart stores so growing the nationwide WiMax network. They have to consider how many stores overlap each other in a 30-50 mile radius, and according to Sprint if they succeed with this project they’ll cover a big part of the U.S.A.  The advantage of constructing network towers on Wal-Mart stores are the low costs and the only permission they will need is from Wal-Mart directors. This may be only a rumor, it isn’t anything official yet but we look forward into it and expect news soon.
