In a very bizarre fashion, Microsoft is somehow related to the “Google hacked” saga. How? The answer is actually very simple: Internet Explorer security flaws. I remind you that a few days ago Google was hacked by Chinese evil-doers and then the search giant decided to stop censoring searches because it’s not fair to the human rights activists. Censorship is not good in any way, but Google has a personal war with the Chinese government because the company has real proof that the government of the Asian country was behind the attack, codenamed “Operation Aurora.”

Let’s get back to the part where Microsoft is guilty for the hacks: McAfee has released a detailed report which shows that IE’s security glitches allowed Chinese hackers to attack Google, though, the antivirus company doesn’t exclude the importance of the “sophisticated social engineering scenarios.”

Microsoft still thinks that Internet Explorer 8 is the best browser around and the Redmond-based company doesn’t miss any opportunities to remind us that IE is the most popular browser in the world. Well, start praying Microsoft because here comes Google, Apple, Mozilla, and Opera among others! You should be afraid and update that oooooold browser!
