Rumors regarding Apple’s future devices got together and gave the Engadget folks a chance to share with us their impressions about Apple’s patents. So the rest came from itself.
The capacitive touchscreen-specific stylus is indicated by one of the recent patents Apple has filled. Does that mean that The Tablet will require a stylus? Some guys over Engadget’s promise they will eat a shoe of anything like that happens. According to them, it isn’t very wise to always listen to what Apple’s patents have to say.
I’m sure you would just love to have some of that TV and Radio to your iPhone or your iPod. Well, you guessed it, portable DVR is what one of Apple’s patent is promising. Not only that, but Apple is promising older iPod updates and making it work for their users too. A dream come true is what Engadget has to say, that has a different opinion about all if this. They don’t think this DVR feature is going to happen very soon for the iPhone or the iPod or the update of older iPods; because everyone knows it would be much simpler for Apple to create a new and slightly different device than update an older one. So another patent busted.
A touch-sensitive plastic back for the iPhone inspires a great deal of creativity, and that’s exactly what another patent wants to do. Apparently, this is not such a huge thing for Engadget to swallow. We hear that 2010’s April could bring this new feature to iPhone’s next generation.
Another believable rumor is indicating towards the iPhone OS 4.0. There’s not much to say about it, except it may be waiting to be launched along with The Tablet, or in a couple of months at the March iPhone SDK event.

Apple Rumor

I think the stylus might be true for the tablet as a graphic designer would need/want this in order to use it as a digital graphics tablet.
Although “Finger Painting” is fun, you can’t draw fine lines with your finger.
