Although it is a long promise from Samsung, it’s 30nm DDR3 DRAM, is finally back in the front line.
After their recent announcement about their new NAND memory cards, Samsung is set to start producing their new 2Gb DDR3 DRAM modules. They are set to replace the old 50nm DRAMs. This new generation of 30nm has all the advantages: 30 percent less power consumption and a lower production cost for the manufacturer.
This little pieces of art will be ready for mass production in the second semester of 2010. So now Santa knows what you want for Christmas.
