Eizo Nanao’s EcoView Sense technology to save power for you
Eizo Nanao thought about people that are too lazy to save power and taught their monitors to do it for them. Their latest EcoView Sense technology uses motion detectors to find out if there’s a person in front to the monitor and if it’s not, after 40 seconds the monitor will go into sleep mode. The monitor will then go out of sleep mode if there’s motion at up to 1.2 meters in front of it.

The technology will be released in the FlexScan EV2023W monitor which features a 1600×900 resolution, 178 degrees viewing angle, and 3000:1 contract ratio. Also, the EV2303W comes with EcoView Sense and features a 1920×1080 native resolution, 1000:1 contract ratio and a 160 degrees viewing angle.
I can already think how people will try to foul the monitor that they’re not in front of him so it will put on sleep mode or try to sit in front of the pc while in sleep mode without it turning on. They will definitely have a tough life.
