SlingPlayer iPhone Coming Soon To Apple’s App Store, Says Sling Media
Recently, we have reported that Apple has removed an application called SlingPlayer from the App Store at AT&T’s request. However, none of this was confirmed or denied which led us to believe that the rumors were true. But now Sling Media, the company who develops SlingPlayer has updated their iPhone official page which now says that it’s coming soon.

Sling Media says that they are in close contact with Apple, and that they feel very optimistic that SlingPlayer will be approved soon. If you are not familiar with this, then I remind you that SlingPlayer is an application which will allow you to stream TV to your iPhone so that you can watch your favorite shows in real-time.
However, AT&T says that this application will consume too much bandwidth and the carrier will be hurt badly. Also, remember that AT&T has requested Apple to limit Skype only to WiFi spots therefore it is very likely that SlingPlayer will not be used via 3G, and just like Skype it will be used only via WiFi.
SlingPlayer iPhone was submitted about 5 weeks ago to the App Store, and it’s already too late. We think that there are still some minor differences to be settled. We think that SlingPlayer will be approved and it will become available soon. We think that at first, SlingPlayer iPhone will be limited to WiFi until AT&T’s exclusive iPhone deal expires. Well, stay tuned and we’ll let you know if the application becomes available! Meanwhile watch the video above to see SlingPlayer in action!

When sling for iphone is finally approved, I’ll take the plunge with the iphone. Until then, I’ll keep my windows mobile phone… If it is never releases, I’ll pass on the iphone…
Same here, if they don’t release the slingplayer app for the Iphone and I can get the same app on another phone such as a Windows Mobile Phone, when my ATT contract is up, I’ll be jumping ship for sure!
Some time ago, I really needed to buy a car for my business but I did not earn enough money and couldn’t order anything. Thank goodness my colleague adviced to try to take the personal loans at banks. So, I did so and was happy with my bank loan.
