I don’t know about you, but I am a fan of simple things. I love simplicity because you can handle it with ease. This is probably the simplest thing ever developed. Here is the Seagate Replica, a backup system which was inspired by the “Time Machine”, and the only difference is that this is for Windows-based computers. The Replica of the Time Machine features a simple, but cool design. Just look at its curves and how nice it lies on a surface.

Its simplicity doesn’t end here – users will just have to plug the Seagate Replica to their PC via a USB cable, then agree to Terms of Service, and then in just a few minutes, it will backup everything that you stored on your HDD. It automatically backs-up your XP/Vista OS, your installed applications, music, pictures, movies, e-mails, bookmarks, and anything else you hide on your computer.
The great part of the Seagate Replica is that it features files recovery which means that it will restore the system and its files no matter what disaster happens. You will need a specially designed boot CD that you don’t have to lose, or else… your files might be lost forever. The Replica tracks and backs-up all of your changes and it’s probably the coolest backup system of them all.

The Seagate Replica measures 5.61″ x 3.99″ x 0.72″ while its dock measures 5.55″ x 1.1.2″ x 1.98″. This backup system is available in two configurations, one is the single PC version with 250GB of backup which costs $130, while the other is a multi-PC version with 500GB of backup which costs $200.
