Activision Fire Vince Zampella And Jason West From Infinity Ward
Weird things are happening at Infinity Ward, the company who has developed Modern Warfare 2. Apparently, Activision (the publisher of MW2) has fired two very important people from Infinity Ward, Vince Zampella and Jason West. There are strong sources including the annual security filling which says that both senior employees were fired due to “breaches of contract” and “insubordination.”
Sadly, nobody would tell a thing. Nobody wants to say what really happened, including the Infinity Ward chief himself, Robert Bowling, who says that he doesn’t have any information. We don’t really believe that, but he’s probably investigating and talking with Activision as he has been very quiet on Twitter. Meanwhile, Jason West has posted on his Facebook account that he is unemployed. West’s LinkedIn profile says the same thing, however, Zampella’s LinkedIn profile says that he is currently working as a Studio Head at Infinity Ward so we cannot if he has been fired or not. Also I haven’t seen his Facebook account so we cannot confirm that he’s unemployed.
We are currently waiting for more information in order to clarify this situation, but Robert Bowling should provide details in the hours to come so stay tuned!
