The F260 Camcorder is part of the Ultra Series from Pure Digital, the company which develops the popular minoHD therefore it should live up to its name therefore it comes with a Pure Digital Video Engine 2.0 video compression, 30 fps video frame rate with progressive scan, and an average bitrate of 4.0Mbps. Pure Digital’s F260 camcorder measures 4.17 x 2.16 x 1.25 inch, and it weighs 5.2 ounces. You can see that there is a built-in USB arm, but the camcorder also comes with a tripod for steady videos, built-in speaker, built-in microphone, and to work you only need 2 AA rechargeable batteries.

The Pure Digital Flip Ultra Series F260 Camcorder comes with FlipShare software which allows you to share your videos online on websites like YouTube, MySpace, AOL, and other dedicated video sites. Another great part about the camera is that it supports TV playback which means that you can get a composite cable then connect it to your TV and watch the movies you recorded.

In conclusion I must say that this is not the best camera available on the market, however, it’s very simple hence great. It shoots videos a acceptable quality, it’s cheap, easy to use thanks to the good user interface, very portable, it comes with a great design, and you can choose between several colors like white, green, orange, pink, and black. The Pure Digital Flip Ultra Series F260 Camcorder is now available in stores for a starting price of $100 depending on your location, stores, and availability.
