HTC HD2 Release Date By T-Mobile Is March 16th, 23rd or 24th

Several months ago the HTC HD2 was one of the most wanted smartphone on the European market, but also on the US market. However, Steve Ballmer and T-Mobile repeatedly said that the Windows Mobile device will become available sometime in early 2010. Well, “early” 2010 is somewhat gone, just like the WinMo platform which can now be considered a dead OS, even though there are thousands of apps available at the Windows Marketplace, the support from Microsoft will be history as soon as Windows Phone 7 Series is out.

Anyway for those of you who still want to buy a phone with a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, T-Mobile invited a lot of folks at an event held on March 16th where they can “experience the HTD HD2.” According to a number of sources, the HTC HD2 release date is March 24th, however, the official MobiTV Twitter account says that the smartphone is coming on March 23rd. The HTC HD2 is still a powerful device and if you’re still interested then you can wait a couple of more weeks until you can get it. Or you could wait for the HTC Desire which is coming sometime in April also at T-Mobile. Just sayin’…
