In a previous report, I told you that the Google swine flu map is not entirely accurate, and although many disagreed I still stand by my opinion. I advise you to track the swine flu using official CDC tools and you cannot possibly miss them. Social media is the most powerful tool on the Internet, and CDC has prepared for you tons of ways to track the swine flu pandemic.
The official CDC swine flu map is based on using several social medial widgets and buttons. The CDC also features an official website specially optimized for mobile use, but the most important is that the Center for Disease Control and Prevention comes with 3 official Twitter accounts, an online TV channel, two podcats, swine flu news feeds, and a Flickr account where you view some swine flu related images.

The official swine flu CDC online TV channels provides you news videos or simply videos with information about the H1N1 influenza. You can share the videos with everybody or post them on your blog. Also, you can subscribe to two CDC featured podcasts which will help you to learn how to prevent from contacting swine flu and to stop spreading it, and the other teaches you about the symptoms of the swine flu.
It’s easier to track the swine flu using CDC’s widgets available in English and in Spanish, and let’s not forget about eCards. You love those right? I’m pleased that CDC acknowledged the importance of social media and you can find them on MySpace, YouTube, and DailyStrength. Please check all the links below and it will be easier to track the swine flu using CDC’s social media tools.
