HP and RIM Make An Alliance To Help BlackBerry Smartphones Users
This is something very unusual in today’s market – someone formed an alliance with someone else, and in this case we can find HP and RIM who announced that they signed an agreement which involves BlackBerry smartphones. According to HP, RIM will have the possibility to make use of the HP CloudPrint service for their BlackBerry smartphones. According to RIM, the HP CloudPrint service is compatible with the recently-launched BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 and users will soon be able to access it.

HP CloudPrint is a service which gives users the possibility to print emails or documents whenever they are near a printer which is connected to the Internet. So if you are in a hurry and you desperately need to print something you have on your cellphone or in your email, and you find yourself near a printer, then HP’s service allows you to do that.
In exchange for their CloudPrint service, HP will be able to make use of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software for their ProLiant servers as there are a lot of lawyers, politicians, executives, and other professionals who own BlackBerry smartphones who want to send emails safely via wireless.
As far as I’m concerned, this is a win-win situation, and I will be pleased with the new BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 that my Storm will feature soon.
