I don’t think that a week has passed since Apple has released the iPhone OS 3.0 beta 4 for the dev team, however, this is not important now as here comes the iPhone OS 3.0 beta 5! I don’t know about you, but this seems a little weird. Was iPhone 3.o beta 4 that crap? Or is Apple remaining out of time before June? What happens in June? Well, next month the iPhone OS 3.0 should be available for everybody therefore Apple should hurry up and ready this software. Also, next month we could see the next-gen iPhone which should go to AT&T until 2011, and two other devices which would go to Verizon.

In iPhone 3.0 beta 5 you cannot activate MMS anymore, and it is said that Apple is working on security measures rather than providing new features or improving stability. If you are familiar with the iPhone 3.0 beta 4, then you remember the Trashcan icon which appeared only in portrait mode? Well, in iPhone OS 3.0 beta 5 is available also in landscape mode. Other notable tweak is that the SMS-send sound is back.

Apple has announced that many users could encounter a problem with their 3G service in iPhone 3.0 beta 5, but the company didn’t say why and they advise developers to call their support line.
