T-Mobile G1 v2 Goes To Motorola, Not To HTC – This Is The First Android Motorola Cellphone

Here is something very surprising. Remember the T-Mobile G2 that we presented you last week? Well, we (just like everybody) thought that this handset will be developed by HTC, however, the latest rumor and if we take a closer look at it, shows and we can see that it is going to be developed by Motorola and it has been “somewhat” re-Christened. We cannot call it the T-Mobile G2 as this would mean that the smartphone is manufactured by HTC so now it’s going to be called T-Mobile G1 v2.

T-Mobile G2

According to some inside sources, the smartphone is definitely not going to be produced by HTC as HTC doesn’t make such key fonts, and buttons, however, this is exactly what Motorola would do. If the T-Mobile G1 v2 comes in July then this means that this is the first Motorola Android-powered handset. Remember the Motorola Calgary which was supposed to be the first Android-powered Motorola handset? Well, if you do, then you can clearly see that the fonts are exactly the same and that the buttons in the front are very similar.

T-Mobile USA is preparing to launch the T-Mobile G1 v2. This is for sure, and I am 99% sure that it will be developed by Motorola, not by HTC. Also, the Calgary is not the same with G1 v2 as the former is going to Verizon, and this one obviously to T-Mobile

this is a slap in the face to HTC, but their g1 was a horrible conceptcar that went into production.
