There’s currently a big scam running on Facebook and a lot of accounts have been compromised. If you receive an email like check ponbon.im, check 121.im or check 151.im, just delete the email and DO NOT click the link, because it may compromise your account too.

If it happens to visit one of those pages and you don’t use a secure browser, along with an updated antivirus software, you risk to get infected and the virus will use your account to infect others. Also be sure to update your operating system to the latest version and install the latest security updates.

If you clicked one of those links already, clear your browsers cookies and scan your computer with an antivirus software.

Be advised that those websites aren’t the only ones that can infect your computer and there might be many more on FaceBook, so always take care what links you’re visiting.

  • All of this talk about viruses makes me extremely nervous. I am so afraid my computer will get a nasty virus and all of my information will be lost! That is why I use Cyberdefender antivirus software. It is really easy for me to use (because I’m not too computer savvy) and I know it is protecting my computer all the time. It also has 24/7 support, so if I have any questions I can always call!
