It has been a while since the last time we presented you an architecture masterpiece, but here is one now. These two structures are called the Burnham Eco Pavilions and they were specially designed by Zaha Hadid, and by Ben van Berkel from UNStudio for the Burnham Plan Centennial which will take place in Chicago this summer. The Burnham Pavilions are destined to show people that it is very important to imagine and hope for a superior future for all of us.

These two great designs envisioned by two of the most renowned architecture firms in the world are made of eco-friendly materials, or at least this is what Zaha Hadid and UNStudio claim. Zaha Hadid designed a curvilinear pavilion made of a ligheweight aluminum frame and stretched fabric, while UNStudio’s tent-shaped structure is made of wood and steel, it’s collapsible which means that it can be reinstated anywhere, anytime. The two structures will be exhibited in the Millennium Park, Chicago as of June 19 until October 31.

Personally, I prefer the seashell-like alien-craft that Zaha Hadid designed, but I would love to travel to Chicago and watch both structures. Check out all pictures and let us know what do you think, and which one do you like the most.
