It’s official folks! The Palm Pre is coming on June 6 at Sprint. There have been a lot of rumors regarding Pre’s release date, including earlier today, however, all the speculation is now over as Sprint has officially announced in a statement that the Pre smartphone will be available in stores as of June 6. Recently, all reports showed that the Palm Pre is going to be very, very, very expensive, however, Sprint said that the QWERTY slider will be available for $199.99 (after rebate) with a two-year commitment.

The Palm Pre and its webOS will also be available at Best Buy, some Wal-Mart stores, and Radio Shack for the same price. Spring has announced that the Palm Pre users will have access to the Now Network exclusive content like NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile Live, Sprint TV, and Sprint Navigation. Well, I am glad that Sprint has finally decided to release Palm Pre’s launch date, but like said before I am surprised that they are launching it on Saturday, and I wonder where did they get the idea.
