A while ago MSI unveiled the X-Slim 320 laptop which is probably the single real competitor against Apple’s MacBook Air. You can see that these look very much the same, however, MSI’s X-Slim is significantly cheaper than the MacBook but we will talk about this some other time. Here are two new products from MSI – two laptops from the X-Slim line which look great and probably will be great. The first is the 13.4-inch X340 while the second is the 15.6-inch X600.

For the moment there isn’t too much information available, but we know that they will both feature HDMI, the X600 will feature an eSATA port, both VGA output, both will be based on Centrino-2, and they will cost somewhere between $699 to $999. We can’t wait for a full spec list, but we’re not in a hurry as we’re still waiting for the X-Slim 320 which seems to be drawing a lot of attention on the market.
